Heading to the Dominican Republic is always an incredible experience, but it’s never an inexpensive venture. While we cover the cost of our flights and lodging, there are additional expenses for the work we’ll be doing while we’re there.

This year, we’re excited to help build an outdoor kitchen at the community center—a project we’ve been contributing to year after year, watching it transform into an increasingly valuable space for the community.

Right now, a team is already on-site digging footers and preparing the space for cinder block walls. By the time we arrive, we’re hoping to lay tile and install windows. Of course, as with any project, things can change depending on supply availability on the island and the contracted labor needed for bigger tasks.
