We spent the morning working on Ana’s house. There is now a steal door with a keyed lock that will give her some security finally. We painted the outside blue- her favorite color. I love all the bright color they use in the DR!

We also spent some time in San Pedro a small village close to La Cubana. They have a girls ministry there and we got to hang out with them and make journals and chat with them about life there. Boys in the DR are raised to play baseball, they view it as there way out of poverty. So when not in school they spend hours training. We met the coaches who believe even if the boys don’t go on to play professionally they’ve still coached them to be good honorable men.

We also got the first coat of off-white on the bedroom and hope to finish today.
